Licence

Wordecks is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). These terms add the details of our subscription and content. If they conflict with the standard EULA, the standard EULA prevails.

Free and Premium

Level A1, all three practice modes, audio and iCloud sync are free. Wordecks Premium unlocks levels A2–C1 and the full activity history.

Subscriptions

• Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription, yearly or monthly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may differ by country.
• The yearly plan may include a free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase (or when the trial ends).
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or from the App Store. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies: reportaproblem.apple.com.
• If a subscription ends, your progress is kept. Levels above A1 lock again and continue where you left off after you resubscribe.

The word list is based on the New General Service List 1.2 by Charles Browne, Brent Culligan and Joseph Phillips, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. Our adaptation (grouping into levels A1–C1 and added words) is shared under the same licence. Translations, example sentences and the app itself belong to us.

We work to keep translations and examples accurate, but mistakes can happen. If you spot one, please tell us.

Acceptable use

Please do not copy, resell or redistribute the app or its translations and examples, or try to bypass the subscription.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
